Today is going to be another one of those trial days. With all the Super Bowl food. I will do my best to be reasonable, but wings will be a must. While they are always best deep fried, I have found a reasonable way to do them, in the oven, and I no longer put butter in the sauce I make, so they end up being about as healthy as a wing can be. Now I just hope the game is at least good.
Breakfast:
2 Hard-boiled eggs
1 apple
Lunch:
Turkey & Swiss on Multigrain roll
Dill pickle.

Day 29 UUBL: Spring 2012 or Return From The Funk
Well, I have been in a bit of a funk for the last couple weeks, and not sure why. I am seriously wondering if it had anything to do with all the "poisons" I indulged in during my Anniversary celebration. I stopped PoHoing, I stopped blogging, I even slowed down, but did not stop my Uke playing. I am just now feeling like I am back to normal.
I am at 216.7 this morning, 2.1 lbs down from a week ago, but still .6 lbs up from two weeks ago, but at least I am heading in the right direction.
Actually had a great Uke class this week. We are working on triplets. This is why I take the classes, I could never figure this out just by watching videos, but it is so simple when you have someone right there to show you what to do, and see if you are doing it right. NOT that I am any good at it, but I have the technique, now I just need to practice, practice, practice.
Had great talk with Kent at The Uke Academy. After class, he showed me his new gold label Kamaka Pineapple, circa the 50's ish. All I can say is wow, what a wonderful sound when I played it, and then he played it and it was spectacular.
Hopefully now I can stay in the swing of things, we will see

Chicken Quesadilla
